We are covering chapter 9 now. Start reading: 9.3 - 9.10. Next class,we'll cover momentum and its conservation. If you want a heads-up, get to the collision sections (9.9 and 9.10). We'll do some collisions in class as a lab next week. I predict awesomeness.
Problems to try: 8.38, 8.41 (calculus-y problems, I think)
Did you get the Tarzan problem (8.25)? We didn't go over it in class today.
For those of you thinking ahead. We will have some manner of test before too long - something that covers energy and momentum. Probably 3-4 problems. It *may* be a take-home test. I'm not sure yet.
